Thibault de Chateauvieux
Born in 1986 in La Réunion, Thibault de Chateauvieux was admitted to the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He continued his studies at the ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne), in the film department, from which he graduated.
A director of documentaries shown at festivals, in the cinema, on television and on the radio, he explores intimacy and relationships within his own family, notably in Point de départ, La Visite, L’heure du départ and Holybus.
Involved in a number of community projects, Thibault has been making documentaries on projects of general interest for over 10 years, broadcast in cinemas, on television and on the web, in the conviction that what is not told does not exist. Passionate about teaching, he has taught at a number of schools, including Ecal, Unine, HEAD, EMA fructidor, ESA-tpm, Atelier de Sèvres and ECV. He has been taking part in the Radio live project as director for 3 years now.
