Heddy Salem grew up in the Busserine district of Marseille. He discovered boxing at 15, and dropped out of school. He is attracted to the army but ultimately only stays there for two months, until the day he discovers the theater. It’s a shock. «The culture I thought it wasn’t for me» he says. Today he has found a new meaning on stage, he writes texts about freedom and equality, he wants to ‘hit’ the audience. He plays Molière. He is engaged at the Théâtre du Merlan in Marseille for public relations. He plays his own role in the show ‘Juste Heddy’ by Mickaël Phelippeau, a danced portrait.
